Rosiloa have enjoyed much success around the Pacific and the wider world but the real support has come from within Fiji
It is the wish of Rosiloa to assist new recording artists, and to revive the sagging "sigi drigi" art form which has been Fiji's school of music for many decades.
Sigi Drigi as it is commonly referred to is the singing and playing of acoustic instruments, while sitting around the Tanoa drinking Yaqona (kava)
Sadly over the past years this form of music which has given rise to most of Fiji's more prominent artists has been in decline.
This is due in part to a lack of resources, both financial and technical, and through the initiative of Rosiloa, The Fiji Arts Council, and The Ministry of Culture and Heritage, a project has been launched to assist the revival of this music.
The Government of Fiji has shown a commitment to Cultural enhancement and Rosiloa support this and are proud to undertake this project.
To ensure this projects success, the support of the electronic media is critical as is the support of the business community and the public of Fiji.
Ongoing discussion is taking place with various parties to encourage support for this initiative.
Rosiloa Productions invites groups from throughout Fiji to contact us via our email email@example.com, to discuss the possible recording of their music in a location that suits both parties.
It is possibly more practical and convenient for us to travel to your area and carry out the recording there.
If you have songs written and rehearsed, please contact us asap for further discussion.
We seek comment from interested parties regarding this project and welcome opinion and ideas to improve and ensure the projects success.
